Every payment method you can accept with Aera: in-store, online and compatible with the Aera Wallet.

Features explained

Phone & watchCustomers can pay with a card stored in Apple Pay, Google Pay or another phone or watch wallet.
RefundsYou can give money back to the customer after a payment.
CashbackThe customer can take out cash at the till when paying.
Cash services (KIB)BankAxept cash services at the till (KIB, kontanttjenester i butikk).
DCCDynamic currency conversion: foreign cardholders can choose to pay in their own currency.
Offline backupA backup service that lets the terminal keep accepting the payment method during an outage.
Split paymentThe customer pays part of the amount with a voucher and the rest with another payment method.
Balance checkCheck how much money is left on the card or voucher.
Activate & top upActivate a gift card and load money onto it at the terminal.
Activate vouchersActivate vouchers that the customer has added to the wallet.
Separate captureReserve the amount first and charge it later, for example when the goods are shipped.
Stored cardsSave the customer's card so they can pay again without typing in the card details, also for subscriptions.
Card updaterStored cards are updated automatically when the bank issues a new card.
Split revenueA marketplace or platform can split one payment between several merchants.

How to read the list

  • In store: accepted on all Aera terminals (RX 5000 and DX 4000), with or without a till integration.
  • Online: available with the hosted payment page and the Online API.
  • Aera Wallet: customers can add it to a wallet app built on Aera White Label Wallet.
  • Countries are where Aera processes the payment method today. Codes: BE Belgium, LU Luxembourg, NL Netherlands, NO Norway. On request means the method is available, but ask us which countries.
  • Phone & watch: cards stored in phone and watch wallets, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  • DCC (dynamic currency conversion): foreign cardholders can pay in their own currency.
  • Offline backup: the terminal keeps accepting the method if the connection to the scheme is down.
  • Split payment: the customer pays part with a voucher and the rest with another method.
  • Split revenue: a marketplace or platform splits one online payment between several merchants.
