Card brand codes

What the AeCardBrandCode in a Payment response means: the card type code for each card brand, per country.

In a Payment response, PaymentInstrumentData includes AeCardBrandCode: a two-digit code for the type of card the customer paid with. For example, 05 means American Express. Use it to show the card type to the cashier, on receipts or in your own reports.

Read the code together with the country the merchant is in
The same code can mean different cards in different countries. For example, 70 is Kjedekort 1 in Norway, but Bancontact in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Use the table for the country the merchant is in.
