How it works
When a merchant uses the BankAxept backup solution (reserveløsning), payments above the voice authorisation limit (currently NOK 2,500) need a phone authorisation.
- The terminal sends an Input request to the ECR.
- The ECR shows the cashier the text from the request: the phone number, the merchant number (BAX number), the amount and the account number.
- The cashier calls and gets a 6-digit code.
- The cashier types the code in the ECR, or writes it on the paper receipt and sends an empty response.
- Answer within
MaxInputTimeseconds (set in the request). Otherwise the terminal times out and aborts the flow. - If the cashier cancels, reply with
Result=FailureandErrorCondition=Cancel.
See BankAxept voice authorisation on Input for the example messages.
