Get access

How to get API credentials for staging and production.

🚧

Master: api-docs.aerahost.com

We're moving our API docs to docs.aera.id. Until the move is done, 1.2. Contact information, 2.1. Access to the APIs and 21. Terms of use on api-docs.aerahost.com are the master for this page. If this page and api-docs differ, api-docs is right.

You need an agreement with Aera. Then email [email protected] and include:

  • your company, country and agreement reference
  • your Aera contact, who confirms the request: name and email
  • a technical contact, who receives the credentials: name, email, role and a mobile number that can receive text messages
  • the environment: test (PreProd) or production
  • the platform: PSP for online payments, or API for the Reporting API and other services
  • the endpoints you need, and what you will use them for

Aera sends you:

  • an API key, sent in the x-api-key header of every request
  • a username and password (your client ID and client secret), used to get access tokens. See Authentication.

Keep them secret. Never share them or put them in code that others can see. Aera can revoke credentials that are shared or compromised.

Test and production have separate credentials. Ask for production credentials when your integration is ready. Before you use the APIs, read Signatures and security and the terms of use. Aera can limit how many calls you make in a given period.

Integrating an ECR with Aera terminals?

You don't need API credentials to start. Aera sends you a test kit instead. See Get your test kit.
