Create payment session

Creates a payment session for Aera's hosted checkout.

The response contains a pspReference and a paymentSessionUrl. Redirect the shopper to paymentSessionUrl. To show the checkout form inside your own page instead, send merchantData.ui with mode set to EMBED. When the shopper is done, Aera sends them to your successRedirectUrl, errorRedirectUrl or cancelRedirectUrl.

Keep the pspReference. You need it to capture, cancel, refund, update or get the status of the payment.

If transactionData.immediateCapture is false, the payment is only authorized. Capture it later with Capture payment.

To store the payment instrument for recurring payments, use Create recurring payment session instead.
