Version 1.2 adds guides for the Aera portal, a first API Explorer for online payments and in-store release notes.
New
- Get started on the Aera platform: a new start page for all Aera products.
- Aera portal guides: step-by-step guides for the portal:
- User administration: create and manage users, roles and permissions.
- Organisation management: add new merchants.
- Payment acceptance: global payment configuration, acquiring agreements, transaction management and report administration.
- Terminal estate management: view, order, activate and replace terminals.
- API Explorer: try the online payments API in the browser: authentication, payment sessions, the payment lifecycle (capture, cancel, refund, update and status) and payment instruments.
- In-store release notes: what's new on Aera terminals, starting with 2026.
Improved
- In-store payments: new "Get started with in-store products" page, and "Choose your integration architecture" is now "Integration setups".
- Online payments: the operations now use the names "recurring payment session", "direct payment session" and "authorize recurring payment", instead of the "MIT" and "Authorize payment" names.
